Located within the green fields of west Godavari district this temple town is popular among devotees. Lord Vishnu ( Lord Venkatesh ) temple is the replica of Tirumala temple of Tirupati. From main bus stand at the centre of the town this temple entrance is visible. There are around 40 steps to climb to reach the main entrance from bus stop. Car parking is available away from busy bus stand area in a circular path close to the temple. Like any other temple there is a queue system for Darshan. Quick Darshan or special Darshan ticket is Rs 50/-. Depending on the busy seasons and holidays the queue will increase. The free queue and Special Darshan queue will join just before the main statue of Lord Venakatesh.
Inside the temple complex and outside the main temple area photography is allowed. There is no camera fee or video fee.
After Darshan you can take Prasad from the counters available by the side of the temple.
There are several hotels available at Dwaraka tirumal for night stay. The temple management runs several Choultries, Kalyana mandapam, guest hours and dormitories for the demotes to stay. There are private hotels and lodges are available around the temple. Usually devotees return to Nelur or Rajahmundry after Darshan.
From morning 6 AM to 1 PM Darshan is available. After 1 PM till 3 PM temple is closed. It is again opened from 3 PM to till 9 PM.
How to reach Dwaraka Tirumala
By road from north side the main town is Rajahmundry 87 KM and from south side it is Eluru 41 KM . Both are the main cities and you can take any cab or public transport from here. From Rajahmundry there are two parallel routs, one is GNT road and other one is by NH 5. The shortest distance is GNT road 87 KM and the main connecting Junction is Bhimdol.
