Lumbini Park boating to Buddha Statue

By the side of Hussain Sagar Lake ( Hyderabad ), this park is well maintained and this is famous for the boat ride to famous Buddha Statue located at the center of the Lake. By the side of Necklace road this park is near to other tourist attraction like Birla Mandir, NTR garden etc.

Entry fee to the park is Rs 10/-

Boating at Hussain Sagar Lake. ( Timing 9 AM to 9 PM )

APTDC operates several type of boats from here to go for a boat ride. There are different types of boats with different charges.

Mechanised Boat ( Visit to Buddha Statue )

Fee Adult Rs 55/- Child 5 to 10 years Rs 35. Suitable for individual or a group as several tourist travel together on these big boats.

Jet Ski ( No Alighting at Buddha Statue )

Per Trip one person is Rs 250/- and 2 persons Rs 300/-

Rajahamsa ( No Alighting at Buddha Statue )

Per Person Rs 100/- , minimum 5 persons required per trip. This is best for a single family or a group going for pleasure trip.

ParaSailing

Per Sortie it is Rs 400 per person.

There is a locker room available where you can deposit your bags for Rs 3/- ( per bag ) and this is open upto night 9 PM.

There is no restriction to carry camera inside but all bags and tourist have to pass through security checks to enter inside the park.

Toilet facility is available ( pay per use ) inside the park.

How to reach Lumbini Park

Take Bus No 5 which travels between Secunderabad railway station and Lakdikapool to reach Lumbini Park. Auto ( Taxi ) will take nearly Rs 80 to take you to Park from secunderabad railway station.
