How to reach Mukteswar temple
This temple is located within city of Bhubaneswar and at distance of 5 KM from railway station, airport and bus stops. Local cabs are available to reach this temple premises from any part of the city. This temple is by the side of the road connecting famous Puri town to Bhubaneswar. If you are travelling from Puri then after entering Bhubaneswar city you can see the temple complex at your left side.

The areas around the Mukteswar Temple is special decorated for this program with special lighting arrangements and by erecting backdrops to give best view of the dance performances.
Artistes of national and international repute perform here. The program starts with Shiva Vandana a group song dedicated to lord Shiva. Then the dances starts with Solo performance followed by Duet Odissi and ends with Group Odissi. All the three days the same program format is followed. Mukteswar Dance Festival is focused mainly in Odissi dances of various artists and groups. In line with this Orissa Tourism also organizes Konark Dance Festival from 1st to 5th December every year at Konark. Konark Dance festival focus on all types of classical dances of India including Odissi.
