Shinganapur Sani Dev temple

Shinganapur is located at a distance of 76 Km from Aurangabad and it is 75 KM from Siridi

This place is well connected by road. Usually Devotees after visiting Siridi temple go to Shingnapur, there are private vehicles to take you to the Shingnapur on seat share basis. Charges are Rs 70 for both ways and they will drop you at Siridi. These vehicles will wait at the out gate of Siridi temple and will start for Shingnapur only after filling their all the vacant seats.

There is an entry fee of Rs 2 per passenger / devotee to enter this holy town.

Saturday many devotees visit this place. Near the temple devotes change dress , take head bath and in wet cloth they visit the temple. Strict dress code is followed, after taking bath devotees has to use Dotar / Dhoti only to enter into the temple. No need to carry these clothes with you as they are available on returnable basis in the shops. Ladies are not allowed to climb upto platform but they can enter the complex and can stand at a distance from the platform. Cameras are allowed inside the complex but taking photos of main platform is not permitted. One of the official has informed us that keeping the photo of the Shani is not good for devotees so advised us not to focus our camera towards the statue.

The village have no doors as people believe that Shani dev will save them from thefts and miscreants will be punished immediately by Shani dev.

There is no statue and Black stone pillar is worshiped with deep respect and traditions.

Transport vehicles has fixed shops of the village. The puja offerings can be priced any thing based on the capabilities of the devotee . There is no fixed rate so you can bargain. As a offering Oil is offered to Shani dev and devotees themselves can do the avisekham by pouring the oil over the statue. You can buy oil packets from these shops.

Respected Sir,
Kindly refer about the dress code that You have mentioned in your details, Now there is no dress code and also bathing is not necessary ,this was because of some mishappenings.The Board had decided that there will be no dress code nor bathing compulsory.Sir Kindly update your message.
