Gania – Gokulananda
Gania is a small Junction connecting Daspalla & Bhubaneswar in alternate route via Kantilo. While coming from Daspalla you can take left turn to travel to Satkosia Gorge of River Mahanadi. Right side road will take you to Kantilo, Fategarh, Baghamari, Khordha and Bhubaneswar.
Here small restaurants, shops, hospital are available.
From Gania Kuturi is 35 KM ( left side road towards Satkosia Gorge)
From Gania Kantilo is 17 KM ( right road towards Bhubaneswar )
From Gania Daspalla is 25 KM ( main road )
Travel towards Kantilo – Bhubaneswar road and after 7 KM you will reach a place known as Rajakiari. There will be a left side road which will cross river Mahanadi at Sidhamula bridge ( 2 KM ) and enter into Cuttack district. From here Cuttack is 120 KM.
Gokulananda
Juest before Sidhamula bridge over river Mahanadi , there is a left side road which goes parallel to river for 2 KM and you will reach Gokulananda. This is a nice picnic place by the side of river Mahanadi. Temples are there at top of the hill. There is an entry fee for vehicles coming to Gokulananda.
If you cross the bridge then you can travel towards Champeshwar Mahadev temple and famous Bhattarika temple.
