Nashik:
Nashik Panchavati Nashik is a famous pilgrim place and famous for Kumbh Mela. This place is considered as the Western Kashi of India. There are many temples and pilgrim places around Nashik. One of the famous places within the city is Panchbati (Panchavati). This is where the famous Kumbh Mela takes place. By the side of river Godavari you can find many temples around this. Old Shiva temples and you can see the center of Kumbh mela which opens once in twelve years during the mela time.Godavari Pushkar is also conducted here.

Nashik is a main station of central railway. You can get number of trains from Mumbai and all other places.
By road:
It is 180 Km from Mumbai by National Highway number 3
It is 220 Km from Pune.
