Paharganj Near New Delhi railway station
This is one of the busiest areas of Delhi. It is close to New Delhi railway station ( 10 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk ) and just 25 minutes drive from Old Delhi railway station this area have several budget hotels. Nearest Metro is RK Puram and New Delhi Metro station. From New Delhi metro station, Airport expresses Metro (by Reliance) starts. This is the fastest mode of transport to Airport than by Delhi transport buses or by Taxi. It will take 20 to 25 minutes to reach airport from New Delhi metro station. Pharganj area is also popular among foreign tourist. There are several browsing stations or internet cafes available. You need to submit one copy of ID proof to avail these services. From Paharganj taxi will charge you Rs 350/- to drop in Airport. However you can also take Airport express from New Delhi Metro station. At present D1 terminal ( Indigo, spicejet operates from here ) is not connected in this Airport express rout and you need to take a taxi from Aerocity station.
