Delhi Darshan by DTC Bus

This service is offered by AC bus of Delhi Transport Corporation every day except Monday. This service starts from Scindia House near Connaught place. Nearest Metro station is Rajiv Chowk and Scindia house is located at the outer circle ( near KFC restaurant of outer circle – note there is a small KFC restaurant at inside circle also). The journey starts at 9.30 AM and ends at Akshardham temple at 5.00 PM.

Price Rs 200-/ per head and kids 5 to 12 years Rs 100/-

The trip starts from Janpath area so you can see several important buildings.

Red fort : Lal Qilla ( 45 minutes )
Raj Ghat ( 20 minutes )
Birla Mandir ( 30 minutes )
Qutab Minar ( Lunch point )
Lotus temple ( 45 minutes )
Humayun's Tomb ( 45 minutes )
Akshardham temple ( drop only )

During the trip the bus passes through several historical and government offices. Some of the important areas are India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament house, Pragati Maidan, Santi Bhan and many other places.

Lunch break is taken near Qutab Minar. There are several food stalls available offering you Thali ( Plate Lunch )

If you have seen some of the tourist points then you can debark from any point during the trip to reach your destination.

In Front of Lotus temple there is Kalka Ji Mata Mandir. There is a Metro station close to the temple. This temple is not covered under this tour package.

If you don’t want to visit Lal Killa then use that time to visit Jama Masjid.
