Viper Island in Andaman & Nicobar

Viper Island
This island can be visited along with other island packages. There is a small jetty ( unlike north island ) so you can come out of your boat with little effort. The main and only attraction of this island is the ruin building famous as women jail. This building is located at top of a small hill. Steps are there to take you top of this hill. From jetty it will take 10 minutes to reach near the building and total duration can be of 30 minutes to return to your boat. There is nothing more to visit but the boat journey to this island you can enjoy as it passes through main port and navy area of Port blair. You can get the view of Cellular jail and its tower from the boat. This part of the journey is to be completed before evening as boats are not allowed after 5 PM.
