Pookot Lake and children park

This lake is located by the side of Highway connecting Wayanand to Kozhikode. Name of the area is Thalapuzha Lakkidi ( P.O). Need to take a left turn while coming from Calicut side. Main attraction here is boating in the lake. In addition to this there is an aquarium, Children's Park, Picnic spots surrounded by green trees in all sides. Facilities like walking , jogging, toilet, refreshment are available. Handicrafts showrooms are there to buy local products.

Boating duration and time are displayed at the ticket counter .
Boating rate for 7 seating capacity is Rs 250/- for 30 minutes duration. Rate vary with sitting capacity and duration.
