Vijaya Vilas Palace Mandvi

This palace is at a distance of 10 KM from Mandvi town. You can see this palace at your right side while travelling towards Ambadevi temple. 12 KM before the temple there is a Y junction, left side road will take you to palace and right side road will take you to temple. On the way towards palace air strip will be at your left side Four wheeler parking fee is Rs 20/

. Main palace gate is nearly 1 KM from the gate. Parking fee is to be paid here. At the 2nd gate buy the entry ticket and walk towards the palace. This palace is surrounded by tall trees in all direction.

You have to remove shoes while entering to main complex of the palace. In ground floor of the palace the old royal furniture are in display. Around the corridor of the main hall you can see photographs of royal family with different dignitaries who visited Kutch area and this palace. You can see famous cricketer Sunil Gavaskar photo with royal family. Begum Pataudi ( Sharmila Tagore ) with royal family and several other bollywood star photos. Photo of The big B , Amitabh Bachchan while promoting Gujarat tourism came to this palace.

Climb up to 2nd floor to get view of surrounding areas. The style of this palace matches the with Rajput style you can see at Jaipur Amber palace
