Sardar Patel Museum at Ahmedabad
Located at Shahibaug this museum is dedicated to Sardar Patel who was the first home minister of free India. Several photos of Sardar Patel is kept here. There is an audiovisual display hall which shows the lifestyle of Sardar patel in a 30 minutes show

Central Hall

This hall showcases photographs, personal belongings and other artefacts related to the life and times of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

About the Monument

Previous name of this building was Moti Shahi Mahal, it was built by Shah Jahan in 1622. Subsequently British govt used this to house some senior officers. In free India it was first used as residence of Governor.

In the year 1978 , the building was transformed into a national memorial dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Now the museum is further enhanced with the help of digital technology.

Before entering to the main hall visitors can see 30 minutes in multimedia hall no 1.
Show timings 9.30 AM, 11 AM, 1.00 PM, 3.00 PM, 4.30 PM.

All facilities like parking , toilets , Food Court etc are available. All entry fee and 3D show fee
This museum is open from 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM
