Karni Mata Mandir at Deshnok - Bikaner
This temple of Kanini Mata is located at a distance of 31 KM from Bikaner. By the side of state highway No 89 , this temple is famous for its rats. Without any fear from anyone rats here enjoy the full freedom and drink milk inside the temple campus.
If you are travelling towards Bikaner by road on State Highway No 89 then before 32 KM from Bikaner you can stop and visit this temple just 500 meter from the main road. There is a railway station close to temple. After visiting the temple you can return to Bikaner ( By bus fare is Rs 26 /- )
Visit inside the temple will take 30 minutes
Video recording is allowed against a fee of Rs 50/-
Still photography is for a fee of Rs 20/-
No other entry fee is to be paid.
There is a museum in front of the temple. Entry fee of Rs 2/- is to be paid here. But cameras ( any type ) are not allowed inside the museum. There is a free shoe stall available to keep your footwear , usually devotes leave them with the shops selling puja items along with their travelling bags. In return buy puja items from them.
This is one of the major attractions of Bikaner for the tourist.
