This is a small and beautiful village located in Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. This village remains cutoff from Shimla district due to snow fall in winter seasons. Distances from other places:
From Nako Tabo is 62 KM
From Nako Kaza is 110 KM
From Nako Reckong Peo is 95 KM
No mobile signals are available at Nako
|Visited NAKO on 18th Oct 2010 and disappointed by the place.|
Lake for which NAKO is famous is not up to mark, water looks polluted\muddy and not healthy for any aquatic life. Village is very small, no cell phone signal, most of the time PCO is also not working, to eat you can get momo and chowmin only.
But the good thing is the road between Pooh and Nako, its full of beauty and landscapes.
