1. Advance booking (by sending DD to Devasthan) - If you visit http://www.ttdsevaonline.com/contact.htm, there is a call centre number who can help you find out if Seva/puja is available on your required dates. Certain sevas are booked until year 2020 or even more. |

Similar to online seva booking, they also have link for e-accomodation and can book rooms of Rs 100, 150 (both non-ac), 750, 1000 and 2000 Rs (AC rooms).
Note that for all accomodation/seva, there are 3 quotas
a. Online quota (opens 90 days in advance)
b. Through centres in various cities - They can give tickets 3-4 months in advance (not sure though)
c. Current booking at Renigunta, Tirupati and Vijaya Bank at Tirumala - Issue tickets for seva a day in advance. eg: If you want seva for Tuesday, Sunday night is when u can stand in the queue and when Bank opens on Monday 8am, book tickets for Tuesday. |

My suggestion is to first book a darshan ticket and then to book travel. Certain seasons like mid-April to end of june are too crowded due to holidays. If you choose end of Mar (exam times), its usually less crowded. For those who are not regular visitors, respect the crowd at kalyanutsav, its heavily crowded - i guess its in sept.

Vijaya Bank next to the temple also sell tickets for certain special sevas under current booking but be prepared to stand in the queue for all night. The bank opens at 8am-Monday to Saturday |

I visited thirupathi on December'2008 i felt so much crowd i may not able to see the god but thank god i saw god by pushing back by temple and visitors and staffs. I thought i cannot come again it is so much rush. This is my first experience.
Again i visited thirupathi temple to foot steps the hills and seeing god. I thought they will not put in one cabin for a long time. But atlast i climbed foot steps the hills and saw god on the day and another day also. And i got experienced very well.

I and my friend group are going to tirupati by train on 28th september, 2011, we will reach tirupati on 29th of september, 2011 by night 23.30 hours, and that time there will be bramha utsav on that time, so plz suggest me some convenient ways to make darshan as soon as possible because we having a return ticket to kolkata on 1st of october, 2011, so please tell me the ticket name which allows me for darshan fast.

Two free Ladus of Balaji are given as Prasad to each member after the Darshan. The Ladus are popularly known as Tirupati Ladu.
There is a tradition to offer hair or tonsure at Tirupati. There is a complex known as Kalyanakkatta where hundreds of barbers are engaged by TTD for a free tonsuring. In the guest houses and cottages this can be done by paying rupees ten. After tonsure one should go for Darshan of Tirupati Balaji.
